The humidifier has an option to be operated from a BMS and accepts Modbus Standard, BACnet or LonWorks protocols.

The Condair CP3 automatically calculates the conductivity of the water in the boiling cylinder to provide accurate humidity control. As the minerals become more concentrated, conductivity increases and so does steam production. To maintain an accurate output the proportion of minerals in the water is reduced through drainage and replacement with fresh water.

A de-scaling pump rapidly removes the waste water and scale to help maintain control accuracy. Drain water is cooled before being released to minimise stress on pipes. Fresh water is added until steam production regains the appropriate level, although steam production is constant throughout this process.

Depending on the hardness of the supply water, all electrode boiler humidifiers will build up limescale in the boiling cylinder – just like a kettle. The Condair CP3 has been designed to make maintenance quick and simple to ensure the humidifier operates with minimal downtime.

A single button allows the user to drain the system of water and prepare it for a cylinder change.

Once empty, isolate the unit from the power supply, allow it to cool, remove the cylinder and replace it.
