The Condair CP3 electrode boiler steam humidifier is an economic yet dependable solution for steam humidification.
It is easy to install, simple to use and provides accurate and responsive humidity control. This makes it ideal for a wide range of applications such as offices, call centres, hospitals and production facilities.
Innovative features such as water conductivity monitoring and staged electrode use maximise the lifetime of the steam cylinder and extend the operational periods between service requirements.
When servicing is needed, the Condair CP3s design makes it easy to drain, remove and replace the disposable steam cylinder, keeping downtime to a minimum.
Many options are available making the Condair CP3 the ideal choice for humidifying directly into a room with a fan unit or into a duct or AHU with a selection of steam distribution pipes.
Operating the Condair CP3 is childs play. The multiple line LCD display indicates all operating parameters, service requirements and fault diagnostics. Control input is via the integrated keypad. The user-friendly software guides you reliably through the menu, even if you infrequently use the unit.
A CP3 card stores all commissioning settings and allows for easy re-commissioning as well as commissioning of several units to the same configuration.
The humidifier has an option to be operated from a BMS and accepts Modbus Standard, BACnet or LonWorks protocols.
The Condair CP3 automatically calculates the conductivity of the water in the boiling cylinder to provide accurate humidity control. As the minerals become more concentrated, conductivity increases and so does steam production. To maintain an accurate output the proportion of minerals in the water is reduced through drainage and replacement with fresh water.
A de-scaling pump rapidly removes the waste water and scale to help maintain control accuracy. Drain water is cooled before being released to minimise stress on pipes. Fresh water is added until steam production regains the appropriate level, although steam production is constant throughout this process.
Depending on the hardness of the supply water, all electrode boiler humidifiers will build up limescale in the boiling cylinder just like a kettle. The Condair CP3 has been designed to make maintenance quick and simple to ensure the humidifier operates with minimal downtime.
A single button allows the user to drain the system of water and prepare it for a cylinder change.
Once empty, isolate the unit from the power supply, allow it to cool, remove the cylinder and replace it.
Easily accessible internals and user-friendly design makes the process simple and it can be carried out in minutes.
Alternatively, the humidifier is available with cleanable cylinders, which can be emptied of scale and reused.
The Condair CP3 wont be beaten on price against any other electrode boiler humidifier of the same specification.
The Condair CP3 intelligently monitors the water level in order to maintain humidity control whilst prolonging cylinder life.
Only the lower sections of the electrodes are initially used to create steam. During operation the parts of the electrodes submerged in the water become encrusted with scale.
As their conductivity reduces the water level is automatically raised to expose fresh unused electrodes to the water.
This staged approach to water level control inside the cylinder prolongs the life of the electrodes and helps maintain their efficiency in providing accurate humidity control.
